For instance, you might open a website in IE and feel that the font size of the text is very small. You might have difficulty reading the font displayed there. Step 1 – Go to Internet Options
First of all, click on the “Tools” option from the menu on top and move over to “Internet Options” right at the bottom.
Step 2 – Click on the Accessibility option
In the Internet Options window, go to the Appearance section within the “General” tab and click on the “Accessibility” button.
Step 3 – Customize the webpage font size
With the new window opened up, tick on the checkbox titled “Ignore font sizes specified on webpages” and click on the “Ok” button. This will basically allow you to customize how the font is displayed on the webpage, according to the settings of the browser.
Step 4 – Increase Font Size
In the tutorial, we will open google.com. On the webpage, click on the “Page” option and a drop down menu will appear on your screen. Go to the “Text Size” option and click on “Largest”. Notice how the size of the text on the webpage increases. In this manner, you can increase the font size in Internet Explorer.
Step 5 – Decrease text size
Similarly you can decrease the size of the text by going to the “Page” menu, moving over to “Text Size” and clicking on the “Smallest” option. In this way, you can change the font size in internet explorer as per your liking.
