How to Create Black List in Gmail

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create a black list in gmail. This is useful for blocking certain e-mails or subjects from being sent to your inbox.



Step # 1 – Navigating to the options
Go to your gmail inbox, then, at the top of the screen click the down arrow which is on the right end of the search box.

Step # 2 – Searching for content to block
Here you can search for e-mails from a certain e-mail address by typing that address into the “From” box. Once you’ve typed in the desired e-mail you wish to block click “Create filter with this search” and the bottom right corner of that window.

Step # 3 – Blocking the content
Now, you can check any of these options, “Delete it” will obviously delete the e-mail before it ever reaches your inbox, therefore blocking it. When you’ve checked the desired boxes, click “Create filter”. That’s all there is to it, you now know how to create a black list in gmail.
