How to Display Numbers as Currency in Excel

To display numbers in currency select the data set you’d like to format or select all the cells by clicking in the top left corner on the triangle.

click on triangle in top left corner of spreadsheet

Right click and select format cells.
right click > format cells

In the formatting pop up choose currency in the menu.
choose the currency option

Select the currency you’d like to have it displayed in.
select what type of currency

How negative numbers should be displayed. Then click ok.
select how negative numbers will be displayed

The cells will now display the data as currency.
cells will now be in currency
