Step # 1 – Finding your Recent Searches
From the home screen touch the “Safari” icon. The browser will load and in the top right you will see a search box that reads “Search”, touch within this and below the box you will see a list of your “Recent Searches”. This is what we are going to be erasing.
Step # 2 – Deleting the Search History
Press the home button and find and touch the “Settings” icon. On the page that loads touch the “Safari” option in the menu on the left. On the right you will see a new series of options, one of which is “Clear History” – touch this. Touch “Clear” in the dialog box that appears. Press the home button again and navigate back to Safari. When you now touch the same search box as before you can see there are no recent searches and that is how to delete Google history on iPad.
