In this HowTech written tutorial, we’re going to show you how to create a business card in Word 2013.
Business cards are an important marketing asset to have in your pocket and ready for any occasion. Word makes it quick and easy to print a stack of business cards out and have them ready to go!
First start off by creating a new document, in the search bar above type in “business card”.
Afterwards, it’s just a matter of finding which template looks good and works for you (multiple sections filling the sheet will work nicely with a home printer and even printing press, they may even accept a single section and do the rest for you).
Simply go ahead and change the Content Control areas to suit your needs (you’ll notice that if you change one section, all the sections are changed which is handy and much easier than doing a lot of manual work).
If you want some areas different than the rest of the document, simply right-click a Content Control box and click Remove Content Control, and now the area can be edited without affecting the rest of the document.
To change an image, simply select it, right-click it, and hit Change Picture. Then choose the image you want to replace it with (you’ll notice that the rest of the sections don’t update, you will need to manually update the rest of the sections to reflect changes made to images).
To go even further, you can choose different Themes or change specifically just the Colors.
