In this tutorial you will learn what push notifications are on the iPhone. Push notifications are a technique used by apps to notify the iPhone user about messages, content updates, and other events. These only become available once you install an app that wants to send you notifications. You can adjust different push notification settings for each app on your iPhone.
Step #1 – Tap Settings App Icon
Step #2 – Tap the “Notifications” Tab
If you scroll down a bit, you can see a section called “In Notification Center”. All the apps below this, have been granted access to send you push notifications.
Step#3 – Turn off Notifications
Tap the app you wish to remove from the notification center. Tap the “On” button to turn it off.
