In this tutorial, we will teach you how to find files in windows. In Windows 7, you can find in the files by using the search feature built in the operating system.
Step 1 – Open start menu
Follow this step by step guide to learn how to find files in windows.
If you want to find a file, simply click on the start button to access the start menu.
Step 2 – Search for the file
Once the start menu opens up, go to the search bar there and type in the name of the file that you are looking for. For the purpose of this tutorial, we will search for the windows default video titled wild life. As you’d type in name of the file, the search results will start showing you relevant results. Locate the file that you are looking for from the search results.
Step 3 – Search libraries
Another way to do so is by clicking on the libraries icon pinned to the taskbar. Once the window opens up, go to the search bar available on the top right corner of the window and type in the name of the file that you want to find. As a result, the search results matching the search criteria will be displayed.
