One can customize their YouTube channel by using a variety of options and making it more personalized as per their likings. A customized YouTube channel will attract the user more as compared to a regular channel with a standard theme. One can add a youtube background which will serve as backdrop for the user’s channel
In this tutorial, we will show you how to customize your channel.
Step 1: Accessing the channel
When you make an account in YouTube, by default, you create a youtube channel. You can access your channel and customize it by clicking on your account name which is displayed on the top right corner of the screen. Once there, select the “My channel” option in the drop down menu.
Step 2: Editing the channel
Over here, you will need to click on the “edit channel” tab on the right hand corner of your YouTube channel page in order to make changes.
Step 3: Clicking on the “appearance” tab
Next, you must click on the “appearance” tab given under the “edit my channel” option which will allow you to make changes to the way your YouTube channel appears. You can thus create a more personalized channel and change the entire appearance of your YouTube page in order to make it look more appealing and eye catching.
Step 4: Working with various options
Over here a new page will open up, displaying to you the menu and on the top tab you will find a number of options such as “Post Bulletin, Settings, Themes and Colors, Modules, Videos and Playlists”. You can work on each of these individually in order to change the appearance of your YouTube channel.
Step 5: Customizing each option
You can edit each one of them by selecting one option at a time and customize the portions within it according to your choice.
Step 6: Using the “themes and colors” option
You can now click on the “themes and colors” option given here in order to edit the color and theme settings for your channel and make it appear slightly more colorful.
